Corfield Church of England Infant School

Hello to all my Reception class parents! I hope everyone is well and keeping safe. We have had a busy term here at Corfield and the children in my class have worked so hard; they have learnt all their sounds and are now ready to write words and use these words in their own sentences. I am so proud of how hard they have worked and become so clever! Thank you for all your support at home, it is really appreciated by me, Mrs Steele and Mrs Fisher. Since you are not allowed into our classroom yet here is a look at some of the work the children have produced to decorate our classroom. They have really made it in to a colourful place showcasing all they have learnt! Enjoy the pictures below and I hope you like them.

We learnt about Fairy Tales and read lots of stories. We did some work about these two  -  The Gingerbread Man & Goldilocks and the Three Bears; we created our own Gingerbread men using collage materials. We made a blanket for Baby Bear to cheer him up after Goldilocks ruined all his things. We used our weaving skills.

We made some fireworks in our work about celebrating special days. They look so good hanging from our ceiling.

The children are now good at reading our Word Flowers and using these words in their reading books.
