Wow, well - what a week! We weren't expecting that were we? But, as we talked about this week, we cannot control these things and we cannot change them. So, we need to find a way to move through it. You are all such strong children; so resilient, so adaptable, so brave and so powerful. You got this!

When we have more news about the week we return, we will let you know. But, please don't worry, we will do our best to look after you as always. We will be here to answer your questions and hopefully make you smile. We will have a class Teams Meeting on Wednesday at 2:30pm, we hope to see all of your smiling faces. Mrs. Humphrey and Mrs. W will hopefully join us from home so hopefully we can get us all together.

We have done a much lighter week this week. Do what you can, have a good try and try to stay positive. If you're struggling then please let Miss. K know incase she can help. Unfortunately she cannot call you from home but she can email your grown ups. If you're finding things tricky, remember it is always better to do something than nothing so try practicing your speed sounds and times tables. Also, keep up with your reading - it's almost time to count the reading rainbow again!

Grown ups: we will keep you posted on any changes but for now please stick to the guidance in the letter. We are sure the children are climbing the walls by now as they aren't allowed out to the park etc so if you need some physical activities - check out the 'weekly workouts' page under the 'class pages'.  If any of the children are struggling with coming back to school, what has happened this week or anything else, then please check out Miss. K's mental health and wellbeing page:

Mindfulness and relaxation will be particularly important to you all at the moment. You need to take some time to relax your minds and try to clear them of all those naughty, busy, pestering thoughts we don't need. Use your breathing exercises if you need to calm yourselves. The videos we use in class are on Miss. K's wellbeing page. You all dealt with Wednesday so well. All three of us, and Mrs. Bignall, were SO impressed with how mature you were, how well you asked for help when you needed it and how you supported each other. It was an odd afternoon but it was so nice to see you pull together and really work as a team to get through it. You're all awesome, totally awesome and you should be massively proud of yourselves. Miss. K thinks YOU ROCK!!

Miss. K, Mrs. Wright and Mrs. Humphrey :) xx
