School Work Week 4 EASTER 2
Hello Year 2!
HAPPY EASTER!! I hope you are having an EGGcellent time!!
I know this isn’t how we thought we would be spending Easter BUT we are proud of you for continuing to work. You’re doing so well. Don’t forget to keep reading every day, fit in a collective worship and keep your work neat like you would at school. We hope you're making the most of the weather and getting lots of fresh air when you can.
SHOW US YOUR WORK :)
We would love to see what you are doing at home! We are sure you are all working really hard and producing some beautiful work. If you want to share it with us we would be so glad to see it. Ask your adults nicely if they can help you take a photo or scan your work into the computer and email it to info@corfield.derbyshire.sch.uk. We will collect all your amazing work and make a page on the website to celebrate everything you’re doing to make us and your families proud at this strange time. We can’t wait to see all your work. Don’t worry, we aren’t marking it or testing you, we just want to see how well you’re doing and celebrate with you.
WEEK 4 WORK:
Maths:
Complete the Quick Maths and Revision documents in your maths book as usual.
Literacy + Phonics:
Use the LIT Daily Revision Tasks and complete 4 each day in your literacy books.
Use the PHONICS document as usual.
Look at the LIT Weekly Challenge document for instructions about your weekly task. I am really excited about this one!!
Topic:
This week we have set you lots of exciting PE, Music, Science, Art and RE tasks.
RE: follow the sheet, you can either print it out (if you can) or you can write it straight in your topic books in your own way.
PE: Read the PE at Home document first, that will give you some ideas. The other PE documents are there for you to have a go at too.
MUSIC: The document has lots of exciting links to music games and resources for you to explore. Singing is scientifically proven to make you happy – so get singing!
SCIENCE: Read the SCIENCE at Home document first and then have a go at one of the experiment sheets.
ART: ‘Colour our Characters’ – Blue Light (a company who support the armed forces, emergency services and the NHS) have sent out some colouring sheets of emergency service/NHS heroes. You will need to print these but if you can’t, try testing your drawing skills and copy one or create your own!
Toilet Roll Characters: seeing as there are no toilet rolls in the shops, you must all have them at home! Which means you must have lots of cardboard tubes to turn into creatures instead.
