SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM MISS.K
Hello Year 2.
Sorry it has been so long since I wrote to you last. I have been busy behind the scenes trying to plan a time to see you all and prepare for the end of term. It's been a very odd time planning to finish for school when none of you are here with us. I am still missing you loads and I'm still so very, very proud of you for everything you're achieving at home.
I have been working hard but still managing to find time to do some relaxing things. Here are a few of my highlights!
I had a social distanced BBQ with my Mum and Dad. It was so hard not to hug them but still so nice to see them. They grow so many different fruits and vegetables in their garden and they let me have a little trip round to pick my own crop. It was so much fun, like my own personal supermarket! Mum and Dad also sent me home with some local free range eggs - one of them was HUGE and when I cracked it.....it had TWO YOLKS!! It filled my whole frying pan.
I FINALLY had a Nandos. I had been waiting and waiting to treat myself and then finally the day came - it was GLORIOUS!
I saw the most wonderful rainbow! We had a few rainy days and I was missing the sunshine so much, then a little glimmer of light came through the clouds. I rushed outside and there it was - a beautiful rainbow.
I have been trying hard at home to grow something. I have never been very good at it before but after some advice from my Mum and Mrs. Wilcoxson, I seem to be succeeding. I am now growing some tomatoes and some sunflowers. If only they made a cheese plant!!
I spent some time at my favourite park watching the wildlife. There were so many different kinds of bird there and most of them had young with them. It was so wonderful to see such a variety of birds all in once place.
Anyway, we can catch up again soon and I can hear all your news. I am so excited to see you all!!
See you soon Year 2,
Miss. K :) xx
