Parents and Friends Association... Get involved!
Parents and Friends Association
If you have a child at Corfield Church of England Infant School, or if you are a member of staff here then you are a member of the Parent Friend Association (PFA)!
What does the PFA Do?
Raises money through fun events:
The Summer Fair
Helps the school - it's easy:
Spend an hour in the classroom listening to children read.
Give things - 'junk' for modelling, wool, old socks, etc.
Support activities, help on school trips, support clubs.
Uses money raised to enrich the children's education:
Books & Science equipment
Resources for numeracy
Coaches for trips
How you can get involved:
Come to a meeting
If you have a child at the school or if you are member of staff you are very welcome to come to any meeting. The PFA meets regularly to decide how to raise funds. Look out at the top of this page for the next PFA Meeting date!
Volunteer to help at an event:
Run a stall for a hour at the Summer Fair.
Help set up the Craft fair.
All these jobs, (and lots more), have to be done if we are to continue to give the children's education the support it deserves.
The PFA are looking for new members as we do have a small but committed team who are working really hard to give the children at Corfield lots of things to look forward to.
If you are interested in getting involved with the PFA or would like more information please do not hesitate to: speak to the school office, speak to your child’s class teacher or feel free to come to the next meeting.
PFA After School Clubs:
There will be no after school clubs during term Autumn 1 - We will let you know our clubs for Autumn 2 very soon!
To find out more information, please visit the school office or directly ask our PFA members.
All members of the PFA who run these clubs have completed a DBS Check.
