Weekly Workouts challenge

Hi Everyone!

On this page you will find links to some workout challenges, provided by Amber Valley School Sports Partnership (our sports coaches).

Students can learn a simple workout of 5 activities through an instructional video or activity cards, to repeat each day of the week. Students (and adults) can then anonymously enter their scores into our website which will appear on an Amber Valley league table.

Students working from home or at school can get involved along with their parents! It would be great to see plenty of adults sending in their scores too!

The Weekly Workouts page can be found here:

Virtual PE with AVSSP

AVSSP will also be releasing or recommending a new PE video every day up to half term, the videos aim to be educational, differentiated and easy to follow for all. We are aiming to provide a rounded curriculum of multiple activities while taking the pressure off parents and staff in regard to home learning. Our curriculum will include Martial Arts, Football Freestyle, Dance, Health & Fitness and more.

Please go to or the AVSSP Facebook and Twitter pages to access the videos.

The previous weeks will remain available too, and entries can still be sent in. Remember the school with the most entries (weighted based on school size) will win a free AVSSP event and adults entering can win a RAB outdoor jacket! You can access the previous week’s videos here:

Video links will be uploaded on here each day (either at lunchtime or after school).

Week 4 activities are now live following these links:

Week 3 activities are now live following this link. Have fun!!

The week 2 routine of AVSSP’s Weekly Workouts programme is now live on their website. There are 5 new activities for students, staff and families to have a go at!

Remember the workouts can be done at your own pace with the timings only acting as a guide. We’re hoping the workouts help students and families towards the Chief Medical Officer target of 60 active minutes per day.

Week 2 info can be found here:
